CH 320L Lab: Introduction to Forensic Science This laboratory course explores the application of science to the criminal and civil laws that are enforced by police agencies in a criminal justice system. By the end of term, students will be familiar with methodologies to collect and evaluate a wide array of crime scene evidence including hair, fibers, paint, soil, glass, fingerprints, ballistics, DNA fingerprinting, toxicology and drugs, arson and explosives, and serology. Credits: 1 Prerequisite: CH 103 or CH 223 Corequisite: CH 320 Satisfactory Grading: Ineligible for the Satisfactory/No Credit grade mode.
