Mission
The Bachelor of Music is a professional undergraduate degree offering intensive study and specialization. Individualized lessons, ensembles, and core courses in music proficiency and music history make up the heart of the program. Students achieve a professional level of proficiency in music performance studies. The optional K-12 Music Education concentration culminates in licensure to teach in Oregon schools.
Learning Outcomes
- Develop and demonstrate proficiency and literacy in one or more areas of musical study: vocal performance, instrumental performance, composition, audio production.
- Apply critical thinking to analyze music in cultural and historical context.
- Create and refine a portfolio of professional materials, skills, and dispositions.
- Demonstrate specialization in music education, performance, or production.

For all courses graded A - NC, a grade of C or better is requried to count toward the Music major. Individual Lessons: 16
