CH 450 Biochemistry I


A study of the chemistry of the individual subunits used to construct biological macromolecules and the chemical bonding within the macromolecules. Emphasis will be placed on the structure and function of nucleic acids and proteins.
Three one hour lectures and one three hour lab per week.
Credits: 4
Prerequisite: CH 336  or consent of instructor
Corequisite: CH 450L  
Satisfactory Grading: Ineligible for the Satisfactory/No Credit grade mode.
