SPED 430 Instructional Methods for Learners with Extensive Support Needs This course will develop skills for planning and organizing instruction and supports for students with extensive support needs. Focus on methodologies to accommodate individualized learning needs of students with extensive support needs in inclusive environments, including adaptations and use of assistive technology. The basic principles of assessment, instruction, curriculum development, and augmentative and alternative communication for students with extensive support needs will also be addressed. Credits: 3 Satisfactory Grading: Ineligible for the Satisfactory/No Credit grade mode.
