SPED 424 Inclusive Practices: Methods for Supporting Exceptional Learners The purpose of this course is to expand upon general education pedagogy by building knowledge related to the use of evidence-based practices to support exceptional learners in inclusive settings. The course will emphasize the use of effective strategies which enable students to access and make progress in general education content aligned with Common Core State Standards. Particular emphasis will be placed on accommodations and modifications in the area of literacy and math methods. Credits: 3 Satisfactory Grading: Ineligible for the Satisfactory/No Credit grade mode.
