SUST 393 Soils and Sustainability Soils are the foundation of terrestrial life. Their geographic distribution, classification and genesis will be studied in detail. Soil characteristics will be examined in both the classroom and field. Historic and current challenges will be explored regarding food production and sustainable agriculture. Credits: 4 Satisfactory Grading: Eligible for the Satisfactory/No Credit grade mode.
