MTH 101 Algebraic Foundations Basics of algebra; topics include equation solving, evaluation and simplification of algebraic expressions, graphing, problem solving and modeling. Focus on linear, quadratic, polynomial, radical and rational functions. This course serves as a prerequisite for MTH 111 , MTH 211 and MTH 243 and does not count towards General Education credits. Three hours of lecture plus two hours of lab. Credits: 4 Satisfactory Grading: Ineligible for the Satisfactory/No Credit grade mode.
