BA 445 Forensic Accounting Forensic Accounting introduces the basic concepts for the use of accounting theories, principles and analyses in legal action. The course will focus on the relationship and application of financial facts to business problems. Students will learn to analyze and interpret the effect of application of financial facts as they pertain to legal situations, as well as explain the function and importance of the prevention, detection and investigation of fraud. Students will learn appropriate quantitative methods to interpret and analyze financial information for legal action. Credits: 4 Prerequisite: BA 317 Satisfactory Grading: Eligible for the Satisfactory/No Credit grade mode.
