EXS 455 Physical Activity & Aging This course will address the consequences of primary and secondary aging from an individual and public health perspective. A focus will be placed on psychological and sociological factors as they relate to adopting and maintaining an active lifestyle. Topics will include; participation in physical activity, functional assessment, and physical activity prescription and programming for older adults with and without chronic disease and/or disability. Credits: 4 Prerequisite: EXS 230 , EXS 310 and EXS 371 with a grade of C- or better Satisfactory Grading: Ineligible for the Satisfactory/No Credit grade mode.
