SPED 283 Teaching American Sign Language III Third in a series of three, focuses on the functions of assessment and evaluation principles in language learning. Students will investigate use and factors involved in designing assessment instruments, current approaches to language assessment, available instruments for the assessment of ASL skills and diagnostic strategies to guide students toward more effective language learning. Credits: 2 Prerequisite: By application only Satisfactory Grading: Ineligible for the Satisfactory/No Credit grade mode.
