SOC 427 Revolutionary Social Movements Description and analysis of revolutionary movements around the world. Special attention given to the French, Russian and Chinese Revolutions. Forms, causes and consequences of revolutions are considered as part of an effort to develop a theory of revolution. Course includes the development and critical examination of the concepts of class and class struggle. Credits: 3 Satisfactory Grading: Ineligible for the Satisfactory/No Credit grade mode.
