SOC 330 Urban Sociology An introduction to urban development. Includes a historical and contemporary analysis of the rise of towns and cities with consideration given to the role of cities in the development of capitalism. Attention given to special topics such as urban redevelopment, urban government, fiscal crisis, housing and gentrification.
