PH 213 General Physics with Calculus Course focuses on electricity and magnetism. Topics include: electric charges and forces, fields, Gauss’s Law, electric potential, current and resistance, circuit fundamentals, magnetic forces and fields, electromagnetic induction, electromagnetic fields and waves, introduction to optics. Class meets three times a week in two-hour studio format. Credits: 4 Prerequisite: PH 212 Corequisite: PH 213L Satisfactory Grading: Eligible for the Satisfactory/No Credit grade mode.
