MTH 496 Problem-Solving for Middle School Teachers Assists middle school teachers in becoming better mathematical problem solvers. Focuses on general problem-solving techniques, introduces techniques and materials helpful in improving student problem solving abilities and suggests ways to organize the curriculum to meet problem-solving goals. Does not apply toward a math major/minor. Credits: 3 Prerequisite: MTH 211 , MTH 212 and MTH 213 , all with a grade of C- or better, or consent of instructor Satisfactory Grading: Eligible for the Satisfactory/No Credit grade mode.
