MTH 105 Math in Society Use of mathematical problem-solving activities from real-world situations designed to convey the application of mathematics. Emphasis on basic probability and statistics, formulas related to personal finance and methods of problem-solving. Completion of this course does not serve as a prerequisite for any other mathematics course. Three hours lecture plus two hours lab.
