LING 410 Theories of Foreign Language Acquisition for Adult/Young Adult Learners Introduction to adult and young adult foreign language learning. Will study the principles and processes that govern second language learning in adults and young adults, with attention to the processes of child language acquisition that are both similar to and different from, foreign language acquisition. Credits: 4 Prerequisite: LING 310 or SPAN 379 and LING 315 (may be taken concurrently) or SPAN 301 , SPAN 302 , SPAN 303 or SPAN 317 , SPAN 318 , SPAN 319 or consent of instructor Satisfactory Grading: Eligible for the Satisfactory/No Credit grade mode.
