GEOG 240 Map & Air Photo Interpretation This course explores the use of topographic maps and aerial photographs to measure and interpret geographic patterns of the natural and social environment. Emphasis is on location, landscape patterns and process identification. The course meets for four hours per week and follows an integrated lecture-lab format with 50% of the scheduled class time dedicated to experiential lab-oriented exercises.
