CS 162 Computer Science II This course teaches the foundational skills of problem solving and programming used in software engineering. Students apply the fundamental programming concepts gained in CS 161 to create more complex programs. New concepts and tools are introduced, including tools that help in the construction of larger, more durable programs that can be used for practical applications. Includes designing and implementing fundamental data structures. Credits: 4 Prerequisite: CS 161 with a grade of C or better and concurrent enrollment in or completion of MTH 232 or MTH 252 Corequisite: CS 162L Satisfactory Grading: Ineligible for the Satisfactory/No Credit grade mode.
