BI 315 Cell Biology An introduction to cell structure and function required for the biology major. Examines the architecture and basic organelle activity in the intact cell and the major techniques currently employed to study cells. Three hours of lecture and one three-hour laboratory each week. Credits: 4 Prerequisite: BI 213 , BI 314 and CH 221 Corequisite: BI 315L Satisfactory Grading: Ineligible for the Satisfactory/No Credit grade mode if you are a Biology major. If you elect S/NC grading the course cannot be used to meet Biology requirements even if a grade of S is earned. If you are in a major other than Biology you are eligible to choose the Satisfactory/No Credit grading option.
