GERO 420 Global Aging This course explores the phenomenon of global aging and how the lives of older adults are shaped internationally according to the economics, customs, policies, and environments of different regions. We will examine trends that impact all of us on a global level, such as changing demographics, globalization, and climate change, and issues such as social policies and programs in various countries that impact health and longevity, living situations, social roles, and power of older adults compared to other groups in society.
