SPED 488 ASD: Supporting Students with High Functioning Autism and Asperger Disorder Identifying and supporting the needs of students with High Functioning Autism/Asperger Disorder in young children through high school. Students will use functional behavioral assessments and develop positive behavioral approaches; will learn about the social impact, review curriculum and research regarding evidence based practices for teaching social cognition and strategies for teaching social skills.
