HST 493 Women in Oregon History Connects students with primary and secondary sources to analyze the history of women in Oregon. Students will consider gender as a category of analysis in assessing the history of Oregon women from native peoples through the present with attention to differences in race, ethnicity, class and gender identity and across regions in the state. Credits: 4 Integrating Knowledge Citizenship, Social Responsibility, and Global Awareness
