HST 301 Introduction to Historical Research Introduction to the research methods and writing styles of the discipline of history. Students will learn the methods of primary and secondary source analysis, how to conduct research using libraries, archives and the internet and the process for developing an effective research proposal and research paper. Course prepares students for success in upper division history classes and the Senior Seminar process. Recommended for students who have completed lower division history coursework. Credits: 4
