CH 223 General Chemistry Course covers topics in free energy and reaction spontaneity, kinetics and mechanisms, equilibrium and Le Chatelier’s Principle, acid-base theory, buffers, electrochemistry, transition metals and topics in nuclear chemistry. Three hours of lecture, one one hour recitation and one three-hour laboratory.
