CH 222 General Chemistry Course covers empirical and molecular formulas, stoichiometry and limiting reagents, reactions of acids and bases, titrations, precipitation reactions, redox reactions, thermochemistry, enthalpy and calorimetry and the properties of gases and solutions. Three hours of lecture, one one-hour recitation and one three-hour laboratory.
