Using concrete models to teach mathematics. Learning theory from concrete to abstract. Models include Cuisenaire rods, bean sticks, 2 cm. cubes, geoboards and multi-base blocks. Two hours of lecture plus two hours of laboratory. Does not apply toward a math major/minor.
