ED 376 Investigations for Elementary Teachers

Students will learn strategies to bring scientific inquiry to the elementary classroom by using local and community resources to engage in place-based, problem-based learning. Students will engage in life, earth and physical sciences and design equitable and authentic science learning experiences for diverse student populations that build from students’ experiences and sense making practices, engage them in the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and use technology to enhance the learning environment.
