Introductory physical geology course that emphasizes Earth’s internal processes. Students will develop content knowledge and gain hands-on experience with a variety of geologic concepts, including plate tectonics, minerals, igneous rocks and processes, volcanism, metamorphism and metamorphic rocks, rock deformation, geologic structures, and earthquakes.
