EC 334 Economics of Collegiate Sports Applies economic analysis to collegiate sports. Topics include: history and function of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, compensation for collegiate athletes and coaches, academic standards for athletes, corporate sponsorships and the financing of collegiate sports, collegiate sports and the media, gender equity for coaches and athletes and the effects of Title IX legislation.
