EC 333 Economics of Professional Sports Applies economic analysis to professional sports. Topics include: public financing of arenas and stadiums; the impact of professional sports on local, regional and national economies; labor issues such as free agency, salary caps, discrimination and “superstars”; competitive balance, revenue-sharing and market structure.
