DHHE 665 Teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing Learners with Multiple Disabilities Course provides information regarding deaf and hard of hearing students with other disabilities. These needs may include cognitive, emotional, behavioral and physical disabilities. Example topics include ADHD, CHARGE syndrome, Usher’s syndrome, autism, learning disabilities or cerebral palsy. Emphasis on assessment, teaching strategies, IEP development and working with parents. Credits: 3 Prerequisite: Admission to DHHE Program or consent of instructor
