CJ 438 Native Americans, Culture and the Criminal Justice System Improves student understanding of the historical realities that devastate Native Americans. Students examine the Native American experience in the criminal justice system in contemporary times and gain a greater understanding of complexities faced by Native Americans in retaining their cultural competencies while facing their inclusion in the criminal justice system.
