BI 434 Comparative Animal Physiology A comparative analysis of animal physiology, emphasizing how different kinds of animals work and why they have evolved to work the way they do. Animal physiology at the level of the cell, the organ system and the organism will be discussed. Included in this course will be an examination of various aspects of human physiology. Three one-hour lectures and one three hour laboratory per week. Credits: 4 Prerequisite: BI 211 , BI 212 and BI 213 or consent of instructor
