ASL 475 Deaf Sociology
This course primarily examines Deaf people in America and internationally. It focuses on Deaf human societies, their interactions, and the processes that preserve and change them. It does this by examining the dynamics of constituent parts of societies such as institutions, communities, populations, and gender, racial, or age groups. It also studies social status/stratification, social movements, and social change, as well as societal disorder in the form of crime, deviance, and revolution.

Examines the principles and theory of new product development, in the context of marketing and marketing management. Students will gain knowledge and experience in the process of identifying issues relating to the challenges of product planning, strategy and implementation, as well as developing skills and abilities utilized in new product development. A number of new product development contexts are covered (including the development of both product and services), allowing students to develop proficiency in assessing and evaluating new product development opportunities and activities.

An introductory study of the anatomy and physiology of the human body. This Scientific Perspectives course will provide students opportunities to explore scientific skills through observation and the use of the scientific method in inquiry-based, student-centered classroom and laboratory activities. This course will focus on basic chemistry, cells, tissues, and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems of the human body.
